Betrayal

Artist’s statement

God created the world as perfect. He offered mankind such freedom, that with the same hands, he gave it the possibility to respect the gift of life and also to destroy it. Once again, this year, we have witnessed terrible fires, in our country, as well as throughout the world. Maybe on purpose or by negligence and carelessness, we have annihilated whole forests, leaving just ashes behind.
I have never participated in an exhibition up to now, but when I learned about the content, I took up my brushes and almost in a fever of enthusiasm, I started to paint my thoughts. I didn’t have to wait long, I just calmly cried out my indignation without embellishment, because is there anybody who can remain silent before such betrayal…?
