What does corporate social responsibility mean in a global economy? To whom are international enterprises accountable? And who decides? In the Winter 2008 issue of Stanford Social Innovation Review, GERALD F. DAVIS,. MARINA V.N. WHITMAN and MAYER N. ZALD take a look at the meaning of corporate social responsibility in a global economy.
